Golden Milk (Turmeric Tea)

Golden Milk is a warm drink that has many health benefits and is also comforting and soothing before bed.

- 2 cups Milk can also use coconut milk, almond milk, etc
- 1/2-1 tsp Ground Turmeric
- 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 tbsp Raw Honey
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon or 1 Cinnamon Stick
- Dash of ground pepper
- In a medium saucepan bring all the ingredients to a simmer over medium heat, stirring often. Be careful not to scald or boil the milk! 
- When milk is heated through, about strain the liquid through a mesh strainer into 2 mugs. By the way, the turmeric in the drink will stain surfaces (and clothing) so be sure to wipe up any that spill or drip onto counters or floors.
