3 Simple Outfits for Fall
Fall is by far my favorite season of the year and so much of that has to do with the outfits and accessories that come with this cooler season. The season full of layering, combining textures and colors, and transitioning some summer items into cooler weather attire. I put together three outfits for fall that would work for weeknights, weekends, and weekdays by using a combination of familiar fall favorites such as booties, scarves and sweaters in addition to a few items you may not associate with fall such as lace and cooler colors. As you read and look below imagine how YOU would wear the various clothing items and accessories. 1. Dinner with Friends. Paw…

Fashion Friday: Booties
Booties, booties, booties. No, we are not talking about the latest crazy song on the radio, we are talking about some of the best footwear for the season. Versatile, comfortable, and just downright hot, booties are now being seen worn with everything from business casual wear to weekend comfort outfits to datenight. I have rounded up some of my favorite ways to wear booties and a few options to shop. 1. Short black skirt paired with super low boot? Yes please! Via Pretty Designs Great for shopping around town, these are super comfortable even with the heel. I especially love the detail strap around the top. 2. With comfy rolled up jeans. This Week’s Top 5
This week everything that surrounds me is full of fall: the colors, the smells, the sounds, the food. What solidified the season change and made it official was our family visiting the local apple orchard which included a pumpkin patch. As we all enjoyed the beautiful (dare I say hot?!) day at the orchard this past weekend, I started thinking about the savory meals, decor, and accessories that include fall produce such as squash, apples, and pumpkin. Here are my Top 5 things I’m obsessing over this week. 1. The Soup Via My Recipes I was perusing through a health magazine online and came across this recipe for a Roasted Tomato and Garlic Soup.…

Fashion Friday: The Scarf
As fall season approaches I have begun to look at more fall pieces to add to my closet. A couple of readers have asked for another fall season style post so I will be putting that together very soon. Until then here are some great ideas on how to use an accessory that I think is one of the biggest staple pieces to have in your closet: the scarf. Via Scarves are such a great piece because not only are they versatile but they can also be worn with each seasonal change. With fall I tend to go with the deeper colors and a bit of a heavier texture to combat the cooling temperatures…

I added the pop of blue in the clutch to add some color and who doesn’t love a clutch that also doubles as a crossbody? 2. The Workout. Tank – Tennis Shoe– Hoodie – Pants After…

Fashion Friday: White Jeans
Happy Friday everyone! I’m excited to share with you a wardrobe piece that I just recently added to my collection. White jeans. I know I’m on a white clothing kick with my white t-shirt post last week but hear me out. There is just something so classic, clean, and effortless about white jeans. Here I wore them with a simple black top and tan wedges. White Jeans – Similar Black Top – Similar Wedges Just like the white t-shirt, white pants are versatile, can go with pretty much anything, and can transition from casual to dressy by simply changing or adding accessories. And I understand the fear of wearing white: the STAIN.…

Hello everyone and happy Thursday! As I peeked through the internet this week there were some really great things that I absolutely love. Great for summer days out shopping or lunch with the kids. 2. The Tote: Halogen Graphic Tote $78.00 During the summer I always default to a tote because I find myself carrying more things such as sunscreen, camera, sunglasses, and my iPad. This tote is great because since it is neutral it will go with…
